ICNZB Bookkeeper of Small Practice 2021...
So excited to say I won “Bookkeeper in Small Practice 2021” at the ICNZB Gala Evening. I am so proud and privileged to have one this award. Putting myself up for an award like this pushes me out of my comfort zone, I am a person that likes to stay in the background.
What a great ICNZB conference at Rotorua Carla and I had, we came away with lots of new information, meet up with new friends that we have only meet through Zoom and caught up with long lost friends from around New Zealand.
Our key take away points from the event are:-
Carla and I had a great time in Rotorua, we were lucky enough to have our husbands travel down to join us for the Gala Dinner. A great time to thank the husbands for the hard work they do behind the scene. Roll on Bookkeepcon22 in Christchurch.

Our key take away points from the event are:-
- Stick to your values and if things don’t fit these values move on – We heard from Latesha Randall from Raglan Food Co, she told us about a product they made, but really did not fit the values of the business, even through they sold well, they chose to remove them from their stock lines.
- I met Matt from Debtor Daddy and had a demo of his product. We are looking at offering this service to our clients. This is a great product to help with freeing up cash within your business and keeping the debtors under control.
- Love listening to Debbie Mayo-Smith about her quick tips in outlook, I had now added Templates… this saves me so much time re writing the same email over and over!
