A Bookkeeper is a person whose job is to keep records of the financial affairs of a business! In other words a Bookkeeper is someone who helps and manages your accounts and books for you.
What can a bookkeeper do?
We look after everything for your business up to the Trail Balance when we pass your books off to an Accountant to complete the end of year accounts for you. To see what services we offer check out our homepage.
Do I need a bookkeeper
Do you have time for your accounts? Do you like doing your accounts? If the answer is no, you need a bookkeeper!! We help businesses from sole traders, through to large companies. We can do 2 hours a month through to 20 hours per week.
How much is a bookkeeper?
The actual cost to you will depend on the size of your business and what you want us to do. We start with a meeting to determine your needs, and then we can give you an estimate of how much it will cost. We are very good at our job, which means that we are fast, efficient and accurate, and we deliver the results that you are after in a timely manner.
We can work on an hourly rate for you or we can create a package to suit your business’s needs.

What makes us different from the next bookkeeper?
What makes us, US? We are Certified Xero Advisors and Partners and we understand what it is like to own our own businesses (Carla and I have both owned businesses in the past). We understand the good days and the bad days and we are part of your team to help your business grow so you can meet those dreams and targets you have. We are here for the long haul! What is the difference between a Bookkeeper and an Accountant?
A bookkeeper prepares the accounts to the trial balance stage and an accountant will prepare the accounts for tax and IRD requirements. We are not tax agents but we work closely with your accountant who is.
